Tip #8. Focus on Dark Elixir
Once you reach Town Hall 7 and older, your Dark Elixir resource will be limited. By normal play, you usually run out of all the golden and elixir updates long before you get enough Dark Elixir to maximize your heroes and build Dark Barracks. As a result, you must take care of the Dark Elixir over all other resources, saving spells and units of the hero when you get a big piece of Dark Elixir.
Tip #7. Put the Clan Castle in the Center of Your Base
Klan Castle is probably the best defensive structure in Clan Clan, but only if you put it in the center of the base. The way the structure works is that when an enemy unit enters the Clan Castle range, the units will land from the Clan Castle and attack the enemy attacking units. Note that clan castle soldiers can jump over their own walls.
If you put a Clan Castle outside your base, the enemy can simply lure units inside the Clan Castle and easily kill them outside the reach of your towers. If you keep Clan Castle inside your base, the enemy will have to damage both Clan Castle units and your defensive structures to buy your base.
In general, it is best to ask Archers to keep your City Hall for defensive purposes. This works very well because Archers often shoot melee units from behind walls, allowing them to shoot Giants and Barbarians without harm. Very high players can choose different units, such as Dragons and Golems, but this requires a clan in which the members will cast those troops.
Note that this tip applies only to players in Town Hall 7 or higher. At earlier levels of Town Hall, you do not have enough buildings to actually prevent your enemies from entering Clan Castle. Town Hall 7 units can still be lured, but it is more difficult. In Town Hall 8 and at the top of the enemy will have to destroy some buildings or a decent number of units to force the soldiers of the Castle Clan.

Tip #6. Use the “Next” Feature Frequently
When farming resources or trophies, always skip the "next" button to find the perfect base for the attack. It only costs a little gold to go to the next base, so make sure you have a good base before you spend all the attacking units. Also be careful not to spend the last gold on modernization - you need to save some gold to be able to use the "next" ability to continue breeding!
Tip #5. Start Matchmaking Early
When you start Clash of Clans, you will receive a three day shield. However, thanks to the Loot mentioned, very few players want to attack you, even if you drop the shield. As a result, you can start creating matches immediately when you need resources without fear of retreat. You can skip and search the database with uncovered resource collectors and use a handful of Barbarians, Goblins or Archers to attack them.
Even if you are attacked, Town Hall players at low levels have little to lose. You will only lose some resources that can be more than complemented by one attack.

Tip #4. Slowly Upgrade Your Town Hall
The "loot" punishment at Town Hall is one of the most important things we know about Clash of Clans but is not publicly advertised in the game. Not even mentioned during the tutorial or anywhere in the game, but it is extremely important to play the game.
This penalty reduces the amount of loot that can be gained from enemies if your Town Hall is taller than the City Hall of the opponent. If your Town Hall is one level higher than the enemy, you will be able to steal 90% of the normal amount available for the prey. If your Town Hall is higher than two levels, you will only be able to steal 50% of the prey. For the three levels, only 25% and 4 levels or more, only 5% of the total available prey. Penalty is reflected in "Loot Available" - you do not have to do any calculations yourself.
As a result, we recommend that you go to Town Hall 4 and then sit in that compartment while you reach maximum defensive structures, military camps and your research. Before moving to City Hall you can level the wall to get additional credit. 5. Repeat this process on each level.

Tip #3. Only Use Spells When Necessary
Like units, spells are very expensive and take some time. Although they can be very effective, you have to make sure that the fight you fight guarantees the use of such a spell. You should know that the Rage spell starts with 23,000 potions, and the healing starts with 15,000 potions; Whenever you use these spells, you must be sure that using spells will allow you to earn at least 15k or 23k of resources (depending on the spell).
Tip #2. Use Cheap Units
One of the biggest mistakes made by new players does not take into account the cost of combat units. Although Giants are great, they cost a lot more than Barbarians. On higher levels Dragons are great but cost far more than Giants. There is also a time factor to consider. While Wizards are stronger than Archers, they not only cost more, but each Wizard requires 8 minutes. Meanwhile, you can create 4 Archers in less than two minutes (Wizards are a 4-unit unit).
As a result, when your main goal is to save resources, you have to make the effort to use cheap units that are quickly produced. The best unit to do depends on the Town Hall level; Visit my Clash of Clans textbook for details on the countryside for more information.
